Job Description: Based in various locations, you will work part time or full time, term time only, on temporary or permanent basis. Please indicate your preference of hours on the application form.

Requirements: You will have an HNC in Childcare and Education, or equivalent, and be eligible for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council.

Responsibilities: You will work flexibly as part of a team to promote the all-round development and wellbeing of young children from birth to 5 years.

The Individual: You will have experience of early years provision and observation/written report experience, with a good understanding of early years curriculum and good practice. You will have good planning, organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills. You will be willing to pursue your own professional development, contribute to the development and implementation of the nursery improvement plan, and support training, mentoring, for students.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment by Dundee City Council.
