Job Description

Requirements

You will have an HND/SVQ4, or equivalent in a relevant subject area, or significant relevant experience in Housing Services.

Responsibilities

You will deliver an efficient and effective day to day operational Tenancy and Estate Management service, Tenancy Sustainment service, Sheltered Housing Wardens service, and Gypsy/Traveller service. Overall responsibility for the administrative/clerical functions for the service. You will assist in developing the strategic direction for the service, ensuring aims and objectives are agreed, implemented and delivered upon.

The Individual

You will have experience of leading and motivating a team, relevant Housing experience including a period of relevant supervisory experience. Knowledge of relevant housing legislation and working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Officer365, Teams, Word, Excel. You will have excellent communication skills, written and oral, good presentation skills, problem solving skills are essential. Negotiating skills, organisational skills with the ability to lead multi-functional team Leadership skills and work with minimum supervision with a willingness to work out of hours as required. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
