Based in a Dundee primary school, appointments will be made to specific schools on a supply basis. There is no obligation on the Children and Families Service to offer you work, nor are you obliged to accept work. You will be GTCS Registered (Primary), have knowledge of relevant curriculum areas and an awareness of main current issues in Scottish education. For Roman Catholic schools You will also be required to apply for RC Church approval at the same time as submitting your application form. You will deliver quality education to assigned pupils and contribute, within the collegiate ethos, to the professional life of the school. In addition you will have a positive and caring approach and commitment to young people, have good communication/ interpersonal skills and relate well to others. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
