Job Description

Working in a hybrid style, based at home and at Dundee House, 50 North Lindsay Street, Dundee, you will work on a full-time basis for 37 hours per week. This is a 12-month contract to provide maternity cover.

You will have an HNC in a relevant subject and relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

As an Accountant in the Accounting Strategy team, perform day-to-day operational financial support, as well as assisting in the provision of financial advice, planning, and reporting to allocated Service(s). This role will have particular focus on providing financial support, advice, and analysis for Children’s Services and Criminal Justice Service. The role sits within the Accounting Strategy team looking after Children and Families Services.

The Individual

You will have the ability to use computer financial systems and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, problem-solving, and analytical skills. You will be flexible, adaptable, reliable, and trustworthy. You will have the ability to prioritize your own workload and work within tight timescales. A Level 2 - Standard Disclosure check is required.
