Job Description

Part-time Variable Lecturer – Engineering (Welding & Fabrication) Rate of Pay: £22.07 – £26.57 per hour plus preparation and marking allowance and holiday pay.
Campus: Kingsway

We are looking to add to the supply pool for a part-time lecturer in Engineering, with a particular focus in welding and fabrication.

You will have experience of working in the welding industry and possess up to date knowledge of the sector and hold relevant qualifications. Ideally you will have teaching experience although it is not essential as full training will be provided.

This role requires a high level of professional knowledge, experience and understanding of the subject area and will involve delivering high quality teaching and learning, assessment of student work, and providing feedback to students.

If successful Dundee and Angus College will help you gain registration with the General Teaching Council (GTCS). The college will work with you to support you to achieve the qualifications and professional learning required for registration, you must be willing to undertake any training and development necessary to gain registration.

Applicants should have good IT skills which are essential in the delivery, development and support of the curriculum area.
