Job Description
Part Time Variable Lecturer – Engineering (Motor Vehicle)
Salary Range: £22.07 – £26.57 per hour (dependent on experience)
Campus: Kingsway
We are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our team, with a particular focus on motor vehicles.
You will be a competent Motor Vehicle Technician who has completed a relevant Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. You will be competent in all areas of Motor Vehicle. It is desirable that you have experience in hybrid and electric vehicles and hold a current MOT testers qualification. The successful candidate(s) must be willing to work towards further qualifications.
Applicants should have good IT skills which are essential in the delivery, development and support of the curriculum area. Must provide proof of Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification (Modern Apprenticeship).
If successful Dundee and Angus College will help you to gain registration with the General Teaching Council Scotland (GTCS). The College will work with you and support you to achieve the qualifications and professional learning required for registration, you must be willing to undertake any training and development necessary to gain registration.
Closing date for receipt of completed application forms is Wednesday 23 July 2025.
Interviews will be held at Kingsway Campus, and are scheduled for Thursday 28 August 2025.
