We are looking to appoint an Academy Business Partner to work at both Dunchurch Junior & St Bartholomew's C of E Academies. We will consider applications either for a full time role covering both academies or two part time post holders covering one academy each. There is some flexibility in the work pattern for the part time roles e.g. hours distributed over four shorter days, three full days etc. Please state your preference for full or part time working within the application form.

Academy Business Partners (ABPs) are key members of the academy leadership team, supporting the Headteacher in delivering financial planning, budgeting and reporting which secures financial sustainability. The ABP also holds responsibilities for managing staff effectively, fostering team performance and leading HR initiatives. Additionally, the role responsibilities cover strategy, facilities management and compliance. The role is varied and ensures the smooth running of the academy’s operations to ensure the academy’s success.

Applicants should be highly self-motivated with a “can-do” attitude and the ability to use their own initiative. The capability to lead others as well as working as an effective team member is essential. Proven budget, finance and people management experience is essential. The successful candidate will thrive on handling a large variety of activities, prioritising urgent tasks. Experience of working in a school environment would be beneficial. A commitment and enthusiasm for creating the right infrastructure to support children and staff is vital.
