AAT Trainee – School Leaver Opportunity Are you finishing school and ready to take your first step into the world of finance? We’re looking for motivated school leavers to join our friendly team as Trainee. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll learn how businesses manage their finances while working towards building a long‑term career in accounting and bookkeeping. Joining our team means diving into a role where you’ll gain hands‑on experience in our Business Services, Tax, and Assurance hubs. This diverse learning plan is designed to give you a well‑rounded understanding of the industry, helping you discover the right career path for you. What You’ll Do:

  • Enter and process clients’ financial information into accounting software accurately and on time.
  • Reconcile wages, suppliers, customers, cash, and bank accounts to make sure records are correct.
  • Assist with preparing VAT returns and management reports for review.
  • Help keep clients’ records up to date so they can make informed business decisions.
  • Communicate with your team to ensure deadlines are met and work is completed to a high standard.

What We’re Looking For:

  • You must have the full right to work in the UK (indefinite leave to remain).
  • A minimum of A-Levels (A–C grades) or equivalent.
  • GCSEs at grade C/4 or above in Maths and English.
  • Minimum of 98 UCAS Points.
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • Any previous work experience, part‑time job, office, or finance experience is a bonus – but not essential.
