Our Business Services Team is seeking a Company Secretarial Assistant. This role will be instrumental in providing a wide range of company secretarial advice and documentation to colleagues and clients. As a Company Secretarial Assistant working as part of a team, you will provide comprehensive technical administrative support to the company secretarial team and your direct line manager in line with Duncan & Toplis practice standards and relevant governmental regulations. This is an entry role and full training will be provided.

Your responsibilities include:
- Answering telephone calls and monitoring shared email inboxes, responding to routine queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintaining accurate statutory books and company records within internal systems and relevant online registers.
- Preparing and submitting annual confirmation statements in line with statutory deadlines.
- Assisting with annual compliance and filing requirements, ensuring adherence to Companies Act and regulatory obligations.
- Supporting the team with ad-hoc company secretarial matters, including company formations, changes to directors and shareholdings, registered office updates, and company strike-off procedures.
We think you’ll need the following experience and qualifications to succeed in the role:
- Quick learner with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritising workload and consistently meeting deadlines.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office and database management systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently at all levels.
