About the opportunity
We are looking for a motivated individual for our 12-month accounting placement role within our Grantham office. This position is ideal for anyone seeking to gain experience in this industry and kickstart their career in accounting. If you’re a second-year university student looking to work in business services or tax, this is a great opportunity for you.
What you will be doing:
- Preparing, amending, printing and sending accounts to Companies House
- Preparing and amending tax returns and computations
- Collaborating effectively with team members to keep workflows running efficiently
- Acknowledging both internal and external emails, ensuring all are responded to quickly
- Supporting accountants and advisors with day-to-day client work
- Learning industry software and accounting procedures
