We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Cashier to join our legal services team.
What does this role involve?
As a Legal Cashier, you will undertake bank reconciliations of all bank accounts and manage office account ledger postings, ensuring any nominal codes are used correctly.
You will manage the SRA account rules annual audit, being the point of contact for any queries, and providing information to our auditors. You will respond to and action issues raised, together with any action points for implementation.
Teamwork
You will challenge all team members regarding any payment or receipt query, and ensure SRA accounts rules are adhered to, as well as notifying the Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration (COFA) of any possible breaches of the SRA accounts rules.
You will also be responsible for creating invoices for the team that can be sent to clients.
You will manage client account payments in a timely manner and maintain ledger postings.
