We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Private Client Tax Assistant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in taxation while gaining exposure to a wide range of personal and tax matters. Working closely with experienced tax professionals, you will support the preparation of tax returns, maintain client records, and assist with tax compliance activities.
What does this role involve? As part of the tax team, you will lead tax projects, provide tax advice, and submit compliance assignments to ensure the successful completion of tax advice for relevant clients.
Teamwork
As a Tax Administrator you will work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues when required. You will build positive working relationships with team members to achieve goals and meet deadlines. You will provide a great client experience offering friendly, efficient, professional, and responsive support. You will work closely with clients to obtain information and documentation required for tax compliance.
Skills and experience
- Deliver all elements of a tax project, tax advice or tax compliance with supervision (review) by your manager or director.
- Keep technical knowledge up to date in taxation matters.
- Manage your workflow and client expectations, using your specialist knowledge and skills to add value to the bookkeeping hub.
- Develop working relationships with clients and assist in all aspects of the company’s relationships with them to maximise yield and performance.

- Participation in formal training, including on-the-job training.
- May be part qualified ATT.
- The ability to work as part of a wider team.
- The ability to create accurate work under tight deadlines and with quick turnaround times.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
