Main Responsibilities of the Role

  • You will be professional with a pro‑active approach, strong client care skills and a sensitive and sympathetic understanding of clients’ needs.
  • Manage all aspects of professional negligence litigation, providing technical expertise and guidance to colleagues where appropriate.
  • Attend clients, take instructions and prepare cases.
  • Deal with correspondence and manage a challenging case‑load of clients’ matters from inception to completion.
  • Prepare draft documents including witness statements, process evidence and attend conferences and court.
  • Maintain accurate time costing procedures.
  • Implement any recommendations made by your supervisor following monthly file reviews, ensuring these are dealt with promptly.

  • Must hold a clean, valid Practising Certificate at the time of application.
