The Hub Manager will oversee a number of retail branches within a designated area (Elgin, Inverness, Nairn, Skye, Thurso and Wick) and will be responsible for driving and managing performance, planning and optimising resources across the area with the Branch Managers. You will have responsibility for maximizing profitability, ensuring the highest standards of customer service and clinical excellence is achieved across all of their branches. You will deliver the strategy, embed the vision, live the company values and execute and operate to the D&T standards/ways of working. You will identify opportunities for continuous improvement, take ownership and make decisions within your area working closely with the Retail Operations Manager for their Hub area. You will manage your own branch but will be expected to be out in the field for approximately 80% of your time supporting the other Branch Managers within your Hub area.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed regional targets
- Monitor branch performance, KPI’s, sales, EBITDA and staff costs. Analyse sales and KPI reports, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Ensure staff within the branches are operating to the standards set
- Lead, coach and motivate branch managers and their teams
- Conduct regular branch visits to primary branch and others within their area
- Manage staff engagement and employee development
- Control budgets, analyse P&L statements, and ensure cost-effectiveness
- Ensure branches reflect clinical excellence to customers and staff
- Ensure H & S requirements and obligations are met

Job Profile
- Proven experience as an Area Manager or similar role
- Experience in managing multiple retail branches
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of clinical and retail management best practices
