We are currently recruiting for an Audiologist / Hearing Aid Dispenser to support our practices across Tayside including Arbroath, Broughty Ferry, Dundee, Forfar and surrounding areas. This position is available on a full time or part time basis.
The right candidate must be:
- A qualified Audiologist / Hearing Aid Dispenser and have a valid driving licence
- Able to demonstrate an aptitude for working as a team member in promoting Hearing Care within an Optical environment
- Passionate about providing high quality care
- Enthusiastic for working in a fast paced environment
Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out examinations of patient's ears to determine the health of the outer and inner ear
- Carrying out hearing assessments to determine the possible need for hearing correction
- Carrying out wax removals as required (training will be provided if necessary)
- Providing the best advice on which hearing systems may be most suitable for patient's hearing loss and lifestyle requirements
- Programming these hearing aids and completing a rehabilitation process with the patient through a series of follow up appointments
- Managing hearing clinics, diary management and liaising with suppliers regarding products and technology requirements and stock
