About the Role: Duncan and Todd Group are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing and assisting in a variety of accounting responsibilities to maintain the seamless operation of the day to day and month end finance matters. This role offers a diverse range of tasks to enhance and expand on any financial experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journals
- Posting & Reconciliation of daily Cash sheets
- Assist with bank postings and reconciliations
- Support the team and management with adhoc tasks
Other
- Act as an ambassador for the Company at all times, leading by example to promote exceptional customer service, to both internal and external customers, at all times.
- Maintain good working relationships with all other staff, both within the finance team and in the wider organisation.
- On the job training will be provided
Beneficial experience
- Beneficial to have previous experience in a similar role
- Beneficial to be competent in excel and capable of manipulating data in excel
- SAP experience is desirable but not necessary as training will be provided
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Good communication skills - both verbal and written
