We are looking for students interested in engineering and manufacture looking to learn valuable skills in manual and CNC machining and develop your knowledge of engineering to become the next generation of skilled machinists capable of operating a variety of machines to produce quality components.

  • An interest in working with manual and/or CNC lathes.
  • Competent at working within a team and individually.
  • Keen eye for problem solving & attention to detail.
  • National 5 grades, including Maths, English and a Technical Subject OR: Successful completion of a relevant access course or appropriate group of National Qualification units Applicants who don’t meet this criteria but have a positive attitude to learn, relevant experience or alternative qualifications will also be considered.
