Working as part of our existing Stores Team, we require Stores Team Leaders who will report to the Stores Manager and Coordinators. Essentially we are seeking determined and committed individuals who can impact on performance and make a positive contribution to the company's future growth.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the Stores department provide a sustainable service level to all departments.
  • Overseeing the issuing of all packaging, ingredients and crate stock to production and ensuring correct batch details are recorded and used at all times.
  • Ensure quality standards are adhered to at all times.
  • Ensure staffing levels are sufficiently maintained.
  • Conducting Team Briefs on a weekly basis.
  • Responsible for stocking levels; allocation of stock checks to Store Operatives.
  • Ensure staff adhere to company rules and procedures.
  • Work to tight deadlines whilst leading and directing a team.
  • Implement Health and Safety compliance within area of accountability.
  • Ensuring that all documentation is completed correctly.
  • Conduct packaging traces when required.
  • Ensure Stores Operatives conduct tare checks where applicable.
  • Other associated duties required by stores coordinators/stores manager.

Qualifications

The Person

  • Essential: GCSE Math’s and English, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a production or stores environment.
  • Good communication skills that enable you to carry out team briefs and any necessary written communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, together with the ability to assist in leading and motivating a team.
  • IT Skills.
  • Desirable: 1 year of supervisory experience would be an advantage but not essential.
