At our Cumbria site we process both beef and lamb and we are currently looking for Cleaners to work in the Abattoir within our production team. The hours are 25 per week 16.30pm – 21.30pm.
It\’s a fast-paced environment, with targets and customer specifications to achieve and we offer competitive rates for skilled individuals, with opportunities for progression available.
Responsibilities:
The Role:
- Using high pressure washer systems
- Using chemicals
- General clean down of meat preparation area and the equipment
- Being involved in wet work (P.P.E provided)
- Some manual handling will also be required
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will need:
- A keen eye for detail
- Experience in using high pressure washer systems
- Experience in using chemicals
- To display a positive and proactive attitude
- Work well to strict deadlines
- Ability to cope well under pressure.
- Be reliable and hard working
