Responsibilities

  • Carry out all hygiene tasks required by the hygiene rota in each respective area that has been assigned.
  • Prepare and be responsible for any cleaning equipment used to carry out hygiene duties.
  • Maintain, replenish and be accountable for stocks of cleaning materials.
  • Be fully conversant with the operation and care of any mechanical cleaning equipment used in conjunction with your hygiene duties.
  • Be fully conversant with the safe preparation, handling, and disposal of cleaning chemicals and disinfectants used in conjunction with your hygiene duties.
  • Good Manufacturing Practice and hygiene standards.
  • Carry out all hygiene tasks in accordance with written approved procedures ensuring all logbook entries (when required) are completed to company standard.

Day Shift

  • A Shift: Sunday 6am-6pm, Off Monday 6am-6.30pm, Off Tuesday 3pm-11pm, 6am-2pm Wednesday 3pm-11pm, 6am-2pm Thursday 3pm-11pm, 6am-2pm Friday Off 6am-6.30pm Saturday Off 6am-6pm

Rate of pay - £12.71 per hour

Qualifications

  • Be attentive to detail in all aspects of the role.
  • Be health and safety conscious.
  • Display patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team or by yourself.
  • To have a flexible approach to work and be prepared to work additional hours when required to meet customer demand.
  • Previous experience in the food industry is desirable but not essential.
