Responsibilities The eventual competencies of a Team Leader are as follows:
Team Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the production team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Training and Development: Provide on-the-job training to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Quality Control: Monitor the production process to ensure that all products meet stringent quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
Health and Safety: Enforce health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and compliance with relevant legislation.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the production process and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production data, team performance, and any issues that arise, reporting to senior management as required.
Communication: Serve as a liaison between the production team and upper management, facilitating clear and effective communication.
Qualifications To excel as a Trainee Team Leader, you should have:
An ability to work in a team and the personal attributes to lead one
Resilient under pressure
An interest and an ability with machinery
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
An attention to detail
A proactive approach to problem-solving
A commitment to personal and professional development
So it’s the above that we will be assessing you against in the recruitment process, as well as the following:
Qualifications and Skills:
GCSE’s grade C and above in English, Maths and Science is a requirement (Required).
Relevant certifications in food safety, health and safety, or meat processing (Desired).
Experience:
We want to meet a wide range of people, but;
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (Desired).
Experience in a supervisory or leadership role (Desired).
