Overview
Trainee Team Leader role at Dunbia Group. This permanent/full-time position offers a starting salary of £13.00 per hour (rising to £15.00 when managing a team) and a development-focused Trainee Team Leader Scheme. A total development bonus of £4,000 is paid at 6, 12 and 18 months. Dunbia is a leading red meat processor dedicated to nurturing future leaders through comprehensive training and support.

Responsibilities
- Team Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the production team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Training and Development: Provide on-the-job training to team members, fostering continuous improvement and professional development.
- Quality Control: Monitor the production process to ensure products meet quality standards and comply with regulations.
- Health and Safety: Enforce health and safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate production data and team performance records, and report issues to senior management as required.
- Communication: Facilitate clear communication between the production team and upper management.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a team and the personal attributes to lead one; resilient under pressure.
- Interest in and ability with machinery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; attention to detail; proactive problem-solving.
- Commitment to personal and professional development.
Qualifications and Skills
- GCSEs grade C and above in English, Maths and Science (Required).
- Relevant certifications in food safety, health and safety, or meat processing (Desired).
Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (Desired).
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role (Desired).
