Overview
Β£13.00 per hour. Cross Hands. Full time, Permanent. We are actively seeking applications from individuals keen to take up a career within one of Europeβs leading food processing companies. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team, who have a desire to produce better food naturally. The role of a QA is to ensure that our products meet the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance required for distribution and the market. The QA will report directly to the Department Food Safety & Quality Team Leader and will be part of a small team responsible for Quality Assurance and Food Safety monitoring within the relevant Department.
Shifts
- Shift A: Sunday 6am β 6pm, Monday 6am β 6.30pm, Tuesday β Thursday 3pm β 11pm
- Shift B: Tuesday β Thursday 6am β 2pm, Friday 6am β 6.30pm, Saturday 6am β 6pm

Responsibilities
- Monitoring the compliance of production teams with Food Safety procedures and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications in relation to food safety and quality.
- Sampling products on different production lines to ensure compliance.
- Product seal checks on production line.
- Support with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action including GMP close out.
- Monitoring production teamsβ corrective measures to ensure that improvements in their processes become permanent changes.
- Product label checks and sign off when required.
Qualifications
- Understand the importance of compliance with processes and procedures and the impact of these on Food Safety and Quality.
- Maintaining production and quality standards laid down by the business, whilst ensuring that they are fully trained in Lean Manufacturing Practice and Continuous Improvement Processes.
- Have a desire to progress within the business and demonstrate a strong willingness to undertake all training required.
- Possess IT literacy skills.
