We are actively seeking applications from individuals keen to take up a career within one of Europe’s leading food processing companies – Dunbia UK, part of the Dawn Group. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team that has a desire to produce better food naturally.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Supporting the achievement of departmental yield and efficiency targets.
- Ensuring good housekeeping is maintained.
- Ensuring that Quality, Health & Safety and other Company policies are adhered to.
- Moving carcasses around the factory.
- Working in a chilled environment.
- Use of knives or other equipment to perform meat cutting and trimming.
- Be aware of and work to departmental SOP’s.
- Proper use and storage of issued PPE (including chainmail and knives etc.).
- Responsible for the intake and weighing in of carcasses and ensuring they meet customer specifications.
- Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
- Have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be highly motivated.
- Strive for customer satisfaction.
- Be able to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative.
- Have a keen eye for quality and high attention to detail.
- Will be committed to working within the Company Mission, Vision & Values.
