Dunbia are one of Europe’s leading food processing companies. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has previous Managerial experience. Reporting to the Site Despatch Manager, The Despatch Night Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing all despatch operations during the night shift, ensuring the efficient and timely distribution of goods. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead the night shift despatch team, providing clear instructions, support, and motivation to ensure optimal performance.
- Operational Oversight: Supervise all despatch activities, including the loading and unloading of goods, to ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of shipments.
- Compliance: Ensure all despatch activities comply with relevant regulations, company policies, and health and safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately recorded and managed to prevent discrepancies.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with other departments to coordinate despatch activities and resolve any issues promptly.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on despatch activities, performance metrics, and any operational issues encountered during the night shift.
