We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive IT Supervisor to join our team at the Launceston production facility. This is a hands-on role, critical to ensuring the smooth operation of all site IT systems and supporting production efficiency through high-quality, client-focused service.

Dunbia – Naturally Better
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of Group IT initiatives at site level.
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including networks, servers, and security systems.
- Diagnose and resolve system issues promptly to minimise downtime.
- Provide expert support for hardware and software (PCs, laptops, printers, phones).
- Configure and install IT solutions and manage user accounts, backups, and security.
- Ensure production systems and factory terminals are fully operational.
- Collaborate with Maintenance to replace failed hardware and restore functionality.
- Configure new products on factory terminals and ensure label compliance.
- Plan and execute system upgrades with minimal disruption.
- Evaluate software updates and consult with production teams on added functionality.
- Promote proper hardware care and barcode quality standards.
- Act as the primary on-site IT contact, offering guidance and training to users.
- Foster strong relationships across departments and support basic IT needs.
- Uphold help desk KPIs and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Manage resolution of business-critical system issues and communicate updates.
- Participate in cross-functional projects (IT, LEAN, telecoms).
- Collaborate with IT Management on policies, systems, and innovation.
- Manage IT procurement within budget and Capex guidelines.
- Prepare reports and summaries for site leadership.
- Champion continuous improvement and manage IT system changes.
- Provide emergency IT support outside standard hours when required.
About You
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in IT support within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of networks, servers, and security systems.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud, data centres, and on-site technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
