We are looking for a General Maintenance Engineer to join our existing team at Llanybydder, to work on the back shift, Monday-Friday from 1500-0000, providing skilled support in matters relating to premises maintenance and machinery repair.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Individuals who enjoy working with others, taking pride in doing things properly and feel comfortable following procedures in a regulated environment.
- Good mechanical or electrical skills – experience in a food manufacturing environment is beneficial.
- A qualification in a mechanical/electrical discipline or 18th Edition training would be advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan workloads efficiently and effectively to meet desired deadlines.

Responsibilities:
Your Main Duties will include:
- Ensuring plant equipment is operating and functioning in the correct manner.
- Maintaining the site and its machinery on a daily basis to ensure that it is fit for its intended purpose.
- Ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis.
- Continually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety.
- Assisting production with machinery problems and setups, providing relevant training when appropriate.
- Adhering to departmental SOPs and maintaining high standards.
- Contributing to the team’s goals and department targets.
- Promoting and maintaining excellent health, safety and hygiene standards.
