We currently wish to recruit for a Full Time Laundry Operative in our Primary Factory to assist with the efficient running of the Laundry Department. This role is full-time Monday to Friday (4pm – 10.30pm or 3pm – 9:30pm).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all communal areas and amenity blocks are kept clean and tidy and compliant with SOPs.
  • Sort, wash, store and distribute laundry.
  • Issue PPE.
  • Monitor stock levels of laundry chemicals, soap, sanitizer, toilet paper and towels.
  • Use cleaning chemicals as instructed and in a safe manner.
  • Ensure all factory PPE is washed, dried, and prepared each evening, so it is fully ready for the next morning’s production.
  • Maintain clean communication with the Laundry Manager, reporting daily progress, stock shortages or equipment issues.

Qualifications

  • Organized and self‑motivated to ensure all jobs are completed on time.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in a commercial laundry, factory, or professional cleaning environment is highly valued, but not essential. Full training will be provided.
  • Ability to work on your own.
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Flexible and able to work overtime as and when required to meet factory demands.
  • The ability to maintain and improve on our high levels of hygiene.
  • Strong time‑management and prioritization skills.
