We are currently seeking a highly motivated, career minded individual who is keen to progress their career within the FSQ Department in Dunbia. Based at our Retail site, this individual will work as part of our existing site team managing business critical IT systems which control aspects of the technical and quality information on site. This role will be IT systems focused and will require an individual who has a passion for technology and ensuring that the systems are being maintained accurately to achieve maximum output. This Role operates on a Shift Basis, including weekend work.
Responsibilities
- The Quality Systems Co-ordinator will have responsibility of the daily management of label designs on a variety of IT based systems along with checks to ensure information printed online across the various shop floor systems is accurate and correct.
- The QSC will maintain PLU files for individual products across the relevant data management and Emydex shop floor systems.
- Updating of retail pricing information on shop floor systems in a timely manner in line with production requirements and processing times.
- Updating of batch traceability tables on relevant IT based system.
- Maintaining and updating the relevant retail price lists & communication of changes/updates to the necessary departments including Operations & FSQ.
- Generation and verification of test labels and relevant system screen shots for final approval prior to operations commencing to ensure that designs and information are complete, accurate, legal, meeting customer, technical and operational requirements, thereafter counter signing and approving with the relevant Technical Account Manager and FSQ Staff.
- Problem solving with Operations / IT and Maintenance staff making system changes as required to ensure efficiency of labelling equipment at all times.
Qualifications
Essential
- Excellent communication skills together with a can do attitude.
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills as the role will involve interfacing with key business stakeholders; therefore the ability to meet deadlines is essential.
- Able to work shifts.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Good Computer literacy and troubleshooting skills, previous experience with use of shop floor IT based systems.
Desirable
- Demonstrable knowledge of the red meat supply chain / quality assurance and UK retailer industry essential with preference given to candidates with previous experience or understanding of UK Retailer Industry.
- Previous experience working in the food industry, ideally in a quality / label verification or IT labelling systems type role.
- A demonstrable understanding of food labelling legislation and food labelling.
