An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineer to join our team at our Carnaby site. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, as a qualified Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for providing skilled support to the site in matters relating to premises, maintenance and machinery repair. You will possess the knowledge and experience to the required standards to operate effectively within a food processing facility.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday with a degree of flexibility to provide support on weekends. You will be required to liaise with the onsite management team, employees and contractors.

Responsibilities:
- Ensuring plant equipment is operated and functioning in the correct manner.
- Maintaining equipment on a daily basis to ensure it is fit for its intended purpose.
- Ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis.
- Continually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety.
- Assisting production with machinery problems and setups, providing relevant training when appropriate.
- Completing daily maintenance check sheets and job cards.
Qualifications:
- A BTEC/C&G in electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working in a food manufacturing or manufacturing environment would be of benefit.
- Completed 18th Edition training or equivalent.
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail, commitment and the ability to accept responsibility are key in this role.
- Will be committed to working within the Company Mission, Vision & Values.
