Dunbia is one of Europe’s leading and respected suppliers of top-quality Beef and Lamb products for the national and international retail, commercial and food service markets. We are currently recruiting at our Carnaby site for the role of Commercial Administrator.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will work as part of the Commercial Department team providing administrative support. This will cover a wide range of commercial and business tasks, requiring you to meet varied business challenges in a fast-paced environment. As part of the apprenticeship program, you will attend college and work toward gaining a level 3 qualification in Business administration, with full training and development provided to support your apprenticeship journey.
Responsibilities:- Processing and data entry for Dispatches, Production schedules, Customer and Sales Order information.
- Support with price checking for daily sales.
- Assisting with organizing and recording Returns.
- Raising rework - work orders.
- Informing Logistics on pallet quantities, delivery dates, order details, and delivery addresses.
- Updating production trackers and sending on to retail sites informing them of daily production enabling them to plan volumes accordingly.
- Organizing transport for frozen orders.
- Updating Stock Surplus and producing weekly pivot table.
- Supporting the updating, devising of Production Plans, and circulating as appropriate.
- Filing and photocopying of paperwork, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Dealing with queries and making calls to Hauliers and customers both internally and externally.
- Supporting other members of the Commercial Team.
- Math’s and English Qualifications.
- Level 2 qualification in a business related subject area.
- Previous experience in an administrative, sales or commercial role.
- Highly motivated and proactive with the ability to communicate.
- Strong organizational skills, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Understanding of team dynamics, demonstrating the ability to work as an active and constructive member of a team.
- Able to work on own initiative, proactively solving problems.
- Able to maintain a professional manner with a high attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel.
- Driving License essential.
- Must be able to provide Right to Work in the UK documentation.
