We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Social Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Milton Keynes on a permanent basis, starting in September 2025. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Social Science and a commitment to delivering high-quality education to students. If you are an experienced and dynamic Social Science Teacher with a proven track record of success in the classroom, we want to hear from you!

As a Social Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a diverse range of topics within the Social Sciences curriculum, including Sociology, Psychology, and Politics. You will inspire and engage students through innovative teaching methods, fostering critical thinking, and encouraging students to explore real-world issues in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in Social Science, ensuring that all students receive a stimulating and challenging education.
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure academic growth.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment where students are motivated, engaged, and encouraged to achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Social Science curriculum.
  • Contribute to the overall success and development of the school.

Requirements:

  • A valid Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
  • UK teaching experience in Social Science or a related subject.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • A passion for Social Science and a commitment to student success.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to motivate and inspire students in the classroom.
