Are you a passionate leader committed to inclusive education and safeguarding excellence? On behalf of a welcoming and community-focused primary school in High Wycombe, we are seeking to appoint an Inclusion Leader to join the senior leadership team. This is a vital leadership post, responsible for ensuring that all pupils - including those with SEND, EAL, those who are disadvantaged, and the more able - receive the personalised support and high-quality provision they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape the strategic development of inclusive provision across the school
  • Lead safeguarding alongside the Headteacher, acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
  • Serve as the designated person for Children Looked After, liaising with virtual schools and agencies
  • Champion behaviour for learning and ensure pupils with additional needs meet high expectations
  • Build strong partnerships with external agencies and families to enhance support for pupils
  • Foster a whole-school culture of equity, inclusion, and high aspiration

About You:

  • The ideal candidate will hold the NASENCO or NPQ for SENCOs qualification
  • Demonstrate a successful track record of teaching across the primary curriculum
  • Have extensive experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
  • Be proactive, reflective, and a confident communicator
  • Be a strong leader with a clear vision for inclusive practice
  • Have prior experience in safeguarding leadership and working with external professionals
  • Be committed to promoting equality, diversity, and the safeguarding of all children
