SEN Teaching Assistant in Slough

About the Role

This role supports learners with additional needs, helping them access the curriculum and achieve meaningful progress. You’ll work closely with teaching staff to create a calm, structured learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN needs
• Assist with classroom activities, interventions, and small‑group learning
• Help maintain positive routines and behaviour expectations
• Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs on pupil progress
• Support with personal care where required

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years of relevant UK education experience
• Strong understanding of SEN support strategies
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Relevant CPD is desirable
• Confident working with pupils of varying needs
