Job Description

A well-resourced and high-performing secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Teacher of Physics to join their Science department on a temporary basis until December 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a specialist to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially KS5.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering engaging and well-structured Physics lessons
  • Teaching across KS3 and KS4, with potential for KS5 depending on experience
  • Assessing, monitoring, and tracking student progress
  • Creating a safe and stimulating classroom environment
  • Collaborating with Science colleagues to maintain high departmental standards

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – essential and non-negotiable
  • Relevant UK-based teaching experience – essential
  • Strong subject knowledge in Physics and general Science
  • Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities
