Job Description

A well-established secondary school in Oxford is looking to appoint a passionate Maths Teacher to start immediately on a permanent basis. You’ll be joining a collaborative department with a focus on academic achievement and pupil support across KS3 to KS5.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Teaching Maths to students across Key Stages 3–5
  • Creating differentiated lesson plans that challenge and support learners
  • Monitoring, assessing, and reporting student progress
  • Supporting pupils in exam preparation and confidence-building
  • Contributing to department resources and team planning

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – essential and non-negotiable
  • Relevant UK-based experience – essential
  • Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum
  • A motivational and reflective teaching style
