Job Description
A well-established secondary school in Oxford is looking to appoint a passionate Maths Teacher to start immediately on a permanent basis. You’ll be joining a collaborative department with a focus on academic achievement and pupil support across KS3 to KS5.
What you’ll be doing:
- Teaching Maths to students across Key Stages 3–5
- Creating differentiated lesson plans that challenge and support learners
- Monitoring, assessing, and reporting student progress
- Supporting pupils in exam preparation and confidence-building
- Contributing to department resources and team planning
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – essential and non-negotiable
- Relevant UK-based experience – essential
- Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum
- A motivational and reflective teaching style
