Job Description
A well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic French Teacher to join their MFL department on a temporary basis from 3rd November 2025. This 0.6 FTE role offers the opportunity to teach French across Key Stages 3 to 5, within a supportive and collaborative environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Teaching French to students across KS3–KS5
- Planning and delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons
- Monitoring student progress and providing meaningful feedback
- Supporting students in exam preparation at GCSE and A-Level
- Contributing to departmental planning and enrichment activities
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – essential and non-negotiable
- Relevant UK-based teaching experience – essential
- Confidence in teaching French to KS5 level
- Passionate about language education and inspiring learners
