Job Description

A high-achieving mainstream secondary school in Ascot is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Business Studies Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis from 3rd November 2025. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Business lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, in a school that values creativity, ambition, and academic rigour.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Teaching Business Studies to students at GCSE and A-Level
  • Planning and delivering engaging and structured lessons
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress to ensure academic achievement
  • Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development
  • Supporting students’ preparation for examinations and coursework

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – essential and non-negotiable
  • Relevant UK-based teaching experience – essential
  • Confidence teaching Business up to KS5
  • Excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills
