English Teacher in Aylesbury

A popular mainstream secondary school in Aylesbury is seeking an experienced and engaging English Teacher to join the team immediately on a full‑time, temporary basis. You’ll play a key role in delivering English lessons across KS3 to KS5 while contributing to a supportive department.

What you’ll be doing:

• Teaching English Language and Literature from KS3 to KS5
• Creating a stimulating learning environment with engaging lessons
• Monitoring and tracking student progress and attainment
• Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level exams
• Participating in departmental meetings and activities

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – essential and non‑negotiable
• Relevant UK-based teaching experience – essential
• Excellent subject knowledge and teaching confidence
• A passion for supporting student growth and achievement
