Dunbar Brown Group are delighted to be working in partnership with an exciting UK-based Data and AI consultancy business in their search for an experienced Account Director. Our client specialises in digital transformation consultancy, particularly in the world of data! With a vibrant office in London, we are looking for someone happy to work closely with the team on a hybrid basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders to ensure clients receive value and remain satisfied.
- Hunt new business opportunities within existing accounts and with new clients, helping to expand the business and drive revenue growth.
- Work closely with clients to understand their challenges and opportunities, and collaborate with them to create customised solutions that align with their specific needs.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for each account, focusing on client success and fostering long-term partnerships, while also identifying potential for cross-selling and up-selling.
- Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure services are delivered as promised, solutions meet client expectations, and processes are constantly improved.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, market changes, and new technologies to ensure the company remains a forward-thinking partner in data, AI, and tech.
- Lead contract negotiations to ensure mutually beneficial agreements and oversee successful completion.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience managing complex client relationships and growing revenue through client success.
- Strong background in identifying and developing new business opportunities, both within existing clients and by acquiring new ones.
- Ability to quickly understand client needs and provide strategic, tailored solutions that highlight the value of our services.
- Good knowledge of data-driven transformation, AI, and digital technologies, with experience in a consultancy or tech solutions environment a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build relationships with different stakeholders.
- Ability to develop strategies that align client needs with long-term business goals.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving growth in client accounts.
Essential Qualifications
- Previous experience in a client-facing or business development role within data, AI, or technology consulting.
- Experience selling consultancy services into either Retail, Media, Transport or FMCG sectors.
- Experience managing complex sales processes and large accounts.
- Familiarity with the latest trends in digital transformation, data analytics, and AI.
Please note that to be considered for this role, you must have over 5 years of selling consultancy services to large FTSE 100 companies. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer Visa sponsorship for this position.
