We are looking to recruit a seasonal attendant to work at the Castle of St John from 19 May – 31 October 2026. This Fixed Term post is 15 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours.
This is a fun and challenging role on a popular local landmark building.
Working front of house we need reliable, trustworthy and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about providing a high standard of customer service. This will involve:
- Greeting customers
- Facilitating tours
- Answering telephones
- Providing customer information
- Operating the gift shop
- Basic record keeping
- Maintaining building security and cleanliness
- Participating in the Castle’s living history events
Excellent communication and customer care skills are essential as is working with members of the public.
Educated to Standard Grade Level or equivalent and some local knowledge of the area would be an advantage.
