We’re now looking for a Building Facilities Assistant to join our friendly, supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity if you’re seeking term-time, family-friendly work in a role where your contribution is genuinely valued.
About the role: You’ll be part of a dynamic, customer-facing facilities team, providing essential janitorial and cleaning support to help keep the school safe, clean and welcoming for pupils, staff, and visitors. Your duties will include:
- Carrying out general cleaning and janitorial tasks to a high standard
- Supporting daily building safety checks and health & safety procedures
- Assisting the Lead Occupier with safe operation of the premises
- Supporting energy efficiency and responsible building usage
- Liaising professionally with all staff and service users
You’ll work both independently and as part of a small team, using a proactive, organised, and methodical approach. A current driving licence is an essential requirement of this post. However, if you have a disability which precludes you from holding a driving licence consideration will be given if alternative transport can be arranged.
Working Hours: You will be required to work 15 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year. 3 hours - Monday to Friday: 1.50 hours – Morning, 1.50 hours - Evening.
