Within the Billing, Ordering and Payments Team of Finance and Procurement, we are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Clerical Assistant. Â Based in Dumfries (Home Working possible), you will play a key role in administering our MOSAIC system for paying and collecting invoices on behalf of Social Work clients. Â You will work 36 hours per week.

The main responsibilities and activities of the post are set out within the attached job description. Â These also include punching and reconciling invoices on the system and liaising with Service Departments and Suppliers/Customers to ensure invoices are paid accurately and on time and that monies owed to the Council are collected efficiently.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and adaptable with good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. Â You should be a good team player able to work to tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.

Candidates should be educated to Standard Grade in English and/or Maths or SVQ Level 2 or equivalent. Â You should have previous experience of working with the public and working in an office environment and be competent in the use of Microsoft Office systems.
