The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 Β£ per year.

We are seeking to appoint two capable and enthusiastic Learning Assistants to work in Sanquhar Primary School. You will be required to support pupils with additional support needs to overcome barriers to their learning and reach their full potential either in the Learning Centre or mainstream classes.

Both posts are for 27.5 hours per week, term time working so hours are over 39 weeks per year.

Standard Grade General, National 4 or equivalent, including Numeracy and Literacy or equivalent and experience of working with children and/or young people. Experience of working with children/young people with additional support needs would be advantageous. A willingness to undertake training will be required.

These posts are considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
