Join our award-winning school cleaning team at Sanquhar Academy. We’re looking for a Cleaner to join our friendly, supportive team. This role is ideal if you are looking for term-time, family-friendly hours in a job where your work is valued and appreciated.

About the role:

  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
  • No previous experience is required - full training will be provided.

Your duties will include:

  • Cleaning classrooms, corridors, washrooms, and shared areas
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
  • Supporting service improvements through our “Find it Clean, Keep it Clean” ethos
  • Working independently with support from the wider team

Working hours:

You will be required to work 14.50 hours per week, 39 weeks per year. Monday to Friday – 3.30pm – 6.24pm.
