Advert Nursery Nurse (2) Beattock Nursery 36 hrs β (20 hrs Permanent/Fixed Term 16 hrs) Salary: Β£27,000.32 β Β£28,803.80 Beattock Nursery is seeking a Nursery Nurse to fill a vacancy. You will be required to work 36 hours per week (5 days), 39 weeks per year. Hours are to be discussed at interview. Our setting caters for children aged 2-5 years old. We strive to provide an enriching, nurturing environment both indoors and outdoors to promote children\βs independence and curiosity. Qualifications: Educated to SCQF level 7 in Social Services, Children & Young People, HNC Childhood Practice, or equivalent. Candidates should be able to adapt quickly to meet the educational and social needs of pupils and play an active role in our staff team. The successful candidate will demonstrate professional skills, knowledge, and understanding. Responsibilities include implementing curriculum development within our nursery, following school policies on learning, including pupil assessment, and working collaboratively with staff, colleagues, and parents. Dumfries and Galloway Council\βs Nursery settings may operate between 8.00 am β 6.00 pm, and working patterns will meet service needs. Nursery Nurse applicants must hold a qualification enabling registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a Practitioner of Day Care Children\βs Services, without conditions.
