What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting day-to-day operations across three HWRCs
  • Assisting and advising the public to maximise recycling
  • Helping with the safe manual handling of waste materials
  • Keeping sites clean, safe, and compliant with procedures and licences

Every day will be different, with deployment tailored to where you are needed most — making this a great role for someone who enjoys variety and teamwork.

You must be educated to a Standard Grade level, have good communication and interpersonal skills, be motivated, and be able to work under pressure, either on your own initiative or as part of a team. Experience in the waste industry or building industry or a customer-facing role would be desirable.
