We’re looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our friendly, supportive team at Dumfries High School. The role is ideal if you are looking for term-time, family-friendly hours in a job where your work is valued and appreciated.
About the role
You’ll help clean and supervise a team of Cleaners to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. Full training will be provided.
Your duties will include:
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, washrooms, and shared areas
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
- Supporting service improvements through our 'Find it Clean; Keep it Clean' ethos
- Working independently with support from the wider team
Working Hours
You will be required to work 20 hours per week, 39.8 weeks per year, Monday – Friday. This post is fixed term for up to 18 months.

Important information
This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
