We’re now looking for two Mobile Contract Cleaning Operatives to join our friendly, supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity if you’re seeking a role where your contribution is genuinely valued.

We will train you to be part of our dynamic and reactive customer facing cleaning operative team, who will travel within Dumfries and surrounding areas to provide essential cleaning tasks in our buildings

\n

About the role
\n You’ll be providing essential cleaning support to help keep the buildings safe, clean and welcoming staff and visitors.

\n

Your duties will include:
\n *Carrying out general cleaning and tasks to a high standard
\n *Maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
\n *Supporting service improvements through our “Find it Clean, Keep It Clean” ethos
\n *Working independently with support from the wider team

\n

Working Hours
\n 25 hours per week
\n 52.14 weeks per year
\n Fixed term contract for a period of 18 months

\n

\n This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.  From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to formal offer of employment being made by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
