Job Description Job Description Casual Care & Support Worker 15.35 per hour ‘Supporting you to live your life’ Mountainhall Daycare, is looking for a new member of staff to cover Holidays to join our small team of Care & Support workers. Looking after and supporting older people to achieve their individual outcomes in a variety of ways. With a person-centred approach, this rewarding opportunity will see you working with people (predominantly over the age of 65) providing support, both social and personal in a safe, warm, friendly environment. Tasks are varied and are likely to include supporting with personal care, assisting with medication, encouraging interaction and assisting with different activities from baking to playing bingo to encouraging movement and socialising.. We provide more than just a job, we offer fantastic training, Flexibility is essential. This is a casual post, the hours are 9 to 3 Monday to Friday. A current full UK driving licence essential. However, if you have a disability which precludes you from holding a driving licence consideration will be given if alternative transport can be arranged. An SVQ level 2 in Social Care or equivalent is desirable but not essential initially as full training will be provided however you will be required to complete this. This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
