Duties will include:
- Drive and be responsible for Refuse Collection and other vehicles as required.
- Collection of Refuse, Recycling, Food Waste, Garden Waste, White goods, and Special/Bulky uplifts for disposal.
- Other tasks relating to Waste Collection Services functions.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for recruitment within Facilities Waste and Neighbourhood Services. You will be expected to carry out various duties as instructed by the Waste Supervisor and have a working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements. You will be required to work as a team member.
This post is subject to candidate vetting through Disclosure Scotland. You will be educated to Standard Grade Level. Full valid current heavy goods driving licence is essential for this position. This post is fixed term for up to 12 months. This post may be suitable for secondment. Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for this post.
